September 2nd, 2008Can I get cash on a cheque before payday?
I get paid in two days and I’m already over my overdraft limit. Can I write a cheque for a small amount of cash and cash it at my local bank? Or will they check to see if the funds are available before they do it?

you will not be able to cash out your check before your payday. however u r payroll department may give you the check before the payday and tell u there is a 24-48 hour hold on the check.
just to be on the safe side u should really ask u r payroll department.
